This pretty, blue flower design non-slip pet-food placemat will protect your
floor from unwanted dribbles - and your pet might appreciate the beautiful
backdrop to their dinner, too...)

The mat is made from a strong, non-slip rubber backing with a patterned upper
layer. Plenty big enough for two or even three bowls for wet and dry food, and
water.

Although it looks like a classic Liberty of London print, this design actually
started life as a millefiori pattern, created in clay.

• Measures 44 x 25cm (the design is 41cm x 21cm with a 2cm wide border) or
17.75 inches by 9.8 inches.

• 2mm (1/16th inch) thick

• Absorbent fabric upper

• Black, grippy, non slip waterproof base

• Fully washable - just give the patterned surface a gentle scrub with a brush
and a little dish soap, rinse and leave to dry

• Each placemat is hand-made to order so please allow 3 days "making time"
before the item is shipped.

THE DESIGN

I personally hand-print all of my placemats at my home studio in Reigate,
England, using only my own designs.
• All my patterns arise from my work as a polymer artist, particularly from
the ancient glassworking technique, "Millefiori". which I use a lot.
• Many of my patterns have been compared to those of the famous 19th Century
fabric and wallpaper designer William Morris, but millefiori can also produce
stunning geometric and figurative patterns such as this one.
