Handmade Ceramic Greyhound dog food Dish! Also works for whippet and Italian
greyhound lovers!
It measures 9 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches tall. This dish will hold a generous
4+ cups of food!. Dishwasher and Microwave safe.
To make this dish I threw the clay on a wheel. I kept the bottom heavy to help
eliminate your pet from pushing the dish across the room!
The 4 running hounds were added in black and I the clay was fired to 1800
degrees. Finally, I applied a food safe clear glaze to the inside and the image
of the hounds. Firing again to 2300 degrees. Each step of the firing process
takes several hours and overnight. But that is how you get the glassy finish!
Custom colors are available but will require about 4 weeks time. The hound can
be painted as well to look just like yours!
