The Bandit Bowl for dogs is a safe, durable, and effective way to help your
furever friend eat more slowly, minimize gastro-intestinal distress and risk of
bloat, or to provide your active dog with extra stimulation and nose work at
meal time. My Bandit Bowls work with dry, wet, raw or liquid foods!

The Toy Bowl is approximately 5" in diameter and is designed to hold
approximately 1/2 cup within the internal grooves, which are approximately 1/4"
deep. The Bandit Bowl works for wet, dry, raw or liquid food. If your pup has a
flat/wide face, or thinks s/he is a canine vacuum, consider up-sizing to the
Small/Medium bowl.

I designed the original BanditBowl for my rescue JRT, Bandit, who inhaled his
food. I was unable to find a commercially available solution that was safe,
durable or effective enough to meet my standards, so I made one! My bowls have
helped hundreds of animals with minor to sever eating issues enjoy their meals
more fully, and their furever parents are resting easier knowing their
furbabies are eating from a surface that isn't full of plastic toxins or
potentially harmful bacteria.

I have sold these for several years on Etsy as Munching Mutt Bowls, but
recently improved the design and rebranded them because I wanted to name them
after my own furbaby, Bandit. They are even better than the bowls previously
sold as Munching Mutt Slow Feeders, which have been tested and approved by
hundreds of dogs in the US, UK and Canada.

I use the same glazes on my pet bowls as I do my people pottery, so you can
rest assured knowing that the surface your furever friend is eating from is
safe, durable and easy to clean.

USE, CARE & DESIGN:

My BanditBowls are handcrafted from stoneware for durability. With proper
care, they will last for many years. Please wash them before use.

The durable glazes are safe for the dishwasher, but the ceramic surface is
easy to clean by hand. Because dishwashers can be dangerous places for handmade
goods, I recommend hand washing with occasional sanitizing in the dishwasher.

My bowls are safe for the microwave or oven! Please use appropriate
precautions and be sure the bowl itself has cooled before offering your pet
food heated in my bowls, as stoneware retains heat.

The bottoms are heavy and designed to minimize movement while your pet eats.
The bottoms are wet sanded smooth with 50-100-200-400 grit Diamond Sanding pads
to protect your floor or counter surface. Many customers affix rubber feet to
the bottom of the bowl for their pets who aggressively try to knock the bowl
around. This works well, but does void my return policy. :-)

To use, simply disperse the food as evenly as possible. When introducing the
bowl for the first time or two, it may be helpful to heap a little extra food
on top of the grooves. This allows your pet to satisfy that first initial
hunger urge and minimizes any potentially negative reaction to their new bowl.
In my experience, and that of my customers, most pets adapt very quickly to
their new bowls and the benefits of the bowl do not diminish over time.

BANDIT BOWL SIZING RECOMMENDATIONS:

Measurements below are approximate, as each bowl is handmade. Volume
measurements indicate the amount of food that will fit within the interior
grooves, as this is how the BanditBowl is designed to work best. More food can
be layered atop the grooves if you wish.

Cat Bowl - 6" diameter - One Size Fits Most - Grooves are approx. 3/16" deep -
Holds approx. 3/4 cup of food
Toy Breed Dog Bowl 5" diameter - Grooves are approx. 1/4" deep - Holds approx.
1/2 cup of food
Small/Medium Breed Dog Bowl - 6" diameter - Grooves are approx. 3/8" deep -
Holds approx. 1 cup of food
Large Breed Dog Bowl - 8" diameter - Grooves are approx. 1/2" deep - Holds
approx. 2 cups of food
Giant Breed Dog Bowl - 9-1/2" diameter - Grooves are approx. 5/8" deep - Holds
approx. 3 cups of food
Giant Breed X-Deep Bowl - 9-1/2" diameter - Grooves are approx. 7/8" deep -
Holds approx. 4 cups of food

Note: For dogs with shorter snouts and wide heads, up-sizing one size is
generally recommended as this helps to accommodate their anatomical features.

As each are handmade, we can customize groove depth to accommodate special

These are made to order and will ship via Priority Mail. You will receive
